3 hours of my life I wont get back and a ruined bank holiday!Booked about 6 days in advance through Treatwell for a bank holiday Monday - there were a select few salons open that day and this place was one of them, and since I have been a few times before I went with them despite it being further away from where I live. I got my appointment reminder and turned up in good time travelling 45 minutes to actually get there. The door was locked but there was a sign up saying they might be upstairs with a client and to wait. I waited 45 minutes sat outside by which time it was about about 20 minutes into my appointment slot before I was like theyre starting to take the p*ss. Called their mobile number about 7 times with no answer, I text them in case they couldnt answer saying something along the lines of I have an appointment booked in for now, Im outside still waiting but I dont think anyones turned up? Can you please let me know? plus a nice little emoji - nothing ars*y or hot headed. I waited a little while longer before having to contact Treatwell who told me that the stupid bloody idiots listed themselves to be open when they must not be after she tried contacting them too and failed - they were actually allowing people to book and not bothering to tell them theyre closed or even offering an apology (or taking their sign down!), despite the fact that they will get notified about the appointments booked in - Im sure they were aware of their Tuesday appointments the following day - how ignorant!Yes, everyone makes mistakes but whats riled me up is that still TO THIS DAY they havent been in touch to offer an apology at the very least, when they will have 1000% guaranteed seen my text, missed calls and Facebook comment. Im not an idiot and aware that how you speak to people in a customer service situation will determine their response - therefore I was nothing but polite, so to not even reply or come back to me months later is absolutely disgusting and way WAY below a standard I expect. The fact they havent been in touch speaks absolute VOLUMES for the type of people who run this place. Wasted a lot my Bank Holiday because of these IGNORANT IMBECILES.. so if you want a treatment from a day spa who actually cares about you as a customer then DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE! Save your money, their treatments werent that good on previous occasions either, just a cheap treat.UNPROFESSIONAL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I was appalled with this salon today. I had booked an appointment weeks ago for eyelash extensions, had a confirmation text and email the day before but when I turned up ten minutes before my appointment at 2pm the door was locked . I did wait for 25 minutes outside and tried to call the salon with no answer. When I got back in my car at about 25 past 2 a lady turned up and opened the salon. I went in and explained I had an appointment which she had no idea about. She made a me a coffee and told me to sit on the sofa . I waited at least 10 minutes whilst the lady talked on her phone in her own language .she came back with her mobile and her daughter was on the phone and the lady said she did not speak good English and handed me the phone, the lady on the phone said the person who was supposed to do my eyelashes ( Annie ) had cancelled all of her appointments and wouldnt be coming today. I was incredibly disappointed and had been looking forward to this appointment and had been using this as a trial for my wedding. The whole experience was frustrating and strange with no real explanation. I feel it was so unprofessional and will absolutely not be using this local salon ever again.
Very nice place with friendly staff. Ive visited for facial treatment, manicure, pedicure and eyelash. I am very satisfied with all the treatments I have received there. Annie is very professional and I will back again. Highly recommended to everyone
Had amazing level of service today from Nick. It's the most helpful massage I've ever had. Professional friendly and exactly what I needed with far more knowledge than normal masseurs have about problems. He was better than chiropractors and osteopaths I've seen and I'm booked to go back in a week
